SUCCESSFUL 2008 MAC-ASHI SPRING SEMINAR HELD MARCH 22.

MAC-ASHI inaugurated the spring season with a successful annual seminar held at the Rockville Senior Center. The seminar, organized by volunteers, covered the topics of inspecting photovoltaic systems, legal issues of home inspection, and inspecting back-up power systems. Seminar Chairman Don Bruns was very pleased with the strong turnout, the quality of the lectures, and the outstanding catering of Debbie Lessans. MAC-ASHI leaders were also pleased to see many inspectors from neighboring chapters in attendance.

Corporate sponsors for the event included Ace Duraflo, a company specializing in steel pipe restoration, Corporate Exposure, a vendor of promotional gifts, Purofirst, a fire, water, and mold damage remediation company, Standard Solar, a local SunPower affiliate, Brinks Home Security, and Dearborn Home Inspection Education.


Our guest lecturer on legal matters, Gary Stein, Esq., shared
several relevant case histories plus a few good jokes.
